Scanning to the Salesforce Queue
Scanning to Salesforce Scanning Queue requires the Vision-e Scan AppExchange package.
SENDING TO THE SCANNING QUEUE
- Follow the instructions in the Implementation Guide lesson, including assigning Permission Sets.
- After logging into your Salesforce org with the Vision-e Scan mobile app, click the Scan or Capture button.
- Select and take a picture of the business card or badge.
- You have the option to rotate the image.
- Click the "Save to Salesforce" button to send to the Salesforce Scanning Queue. If you do not see the Save to Salesforce button on this page then you have a permission configuration in your Salesforce org that will need completed.
- View the image in your Salesforce Scanning Queue tab.
Lesson Summary
To scan and send images to the Salesforce Scanning Queue, you will need to download and install the Vision-e Scan AppExchange package.
Follow these steps to send an image to the Scanning Queue:
- Login to your Salesforce org using the Vision-e Scan mobile app.
- Click the Scan or Capture button.
- Select and take a picture of the business card or badge.
- Optionally, you can rotate the image if needed.
- Click the "Save to Salesforce" button to send the image to the Salesforce Scanning Queue.
- Go to the Salesforce Scanning Queue tab to view the image.
