Activating Vision-e AI

Enabling the AI Feature for the Scan App in Salesforce


You must have Salesforce Admin permission to enable AI.

There are two steps to enable AI in the Vision-e Scanning App:

  1. Enable Custom Layouts
  2. Enable AI in Custom Settings

1. ENABLE CUSTOM LAYOUTS IN THE MOBILE SCAN BUILDER



2. ENABLE AI IN CUSTOM SETTINGS



Step 1: Navigate to Setup

  • Access the Setup area by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner and selecting "Setup" from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Locate Custom Settings

  • In the Quick Find box within Setup, type "Custom Settings" and select it from the dropdown that appears.

Step 3: Access Custom Settings

  • On the Custom Settings page, locate "eContacts Settings". Then click "Manage".

Step 4: Enable the AI Feature

  • Search for the "Enable AI" field and click it to enable it.

Step 5: Save Your Change

  • Once the AI feature is enabled, click "Save" to apply the change.
