Introduction
MY QR CODES
The 'My QR Codes' are available to in-app subscribers and business customers. This module generates a QR code for your digital business card and other custom QR codes.
QR Codes are organized into five categories:
- Business Cards: QR codes formatted in vCard containing users' contact and company information.
- Documents: Links to online documents that can be shared.
- Landing Pages: QR codes in URL format designed to direct users to a specific website.
- Social: QR codes formatted as URLs that connect to users' social media accounts.
- Payment: QR codes in URL format that direct to users' payment platform.
Users can create custom QR codes in-app by selecting the 'Plus' icon at the top right of the 'My QR Codes' page.
In Salesforce, QR codes can be handled by installing the Vision-e AppExchange package. Salesforce administrators can create, edit, and delete QR codes through this package. Subsequently, they can push these changes to users currently logged into the Scan app.
Upon choosing the 'My QR Codes' module, you will be directed to the 'My QR Codes' screen. Here, you can view your digital business card vCard and any QR codes generated in-app or added by your Salesforce organization. Within the 'My QR Codes' menu, selecting a QR code opens it for sharing or scanning. For vCard formatted QR codes, you can share them as either a QR code or a vCard. In the case of URL-formatted QR codes, you can share the URL or open it.
