Permission Sets


Assigning the Scan permission sets to users will enable Admin and User permissions.

Begin by assigning administrator rights, which provide control over the visibility and availability of features for users within the organization.

To assign admin permission sets, use the 'Scan App Permission Set (Admin)' permission set. This is only relevant for users who do not have a System Administrator profile but may need admin access to controls which are scan-related. 

To have to option to Save to Salesforce Scanning Queue in the Scan app, users will need to be assigned the "Scan App Permission Set" permission set. When you assign this permission set, the Send to Salesforce button will be visible if set up allows users to save to the Salesforce queue.
