Scanning Queue


The Scanning Queue serves as a staging area prior to processing as a Lead or Contact. This option is available to users with a Scan Permission Set assigned.

You can disable the option to send business cards to the Scanning Queue from the Scan app using the Mobile Scan Builder. In the "Options" tab of the Destination Page section, toggle the "Hide Save to Queue" setting to enable or disable the option.

Users can review scans in the Scanning Queue and, if necessary, make changes to the OCR results before saving the scan as a Contact or Lead. When saving a scan as a Lead or Contact, the Scanning Queue follows your organization's duplicate rules.


You can manually edit the text fields for each upload in the Scanning Queue before saving it as a Contact or Lead. Once a contact or lead is created, the business card is removed from the Scanning Queue.

To go to the Scanning Queue:

  1. Click the app launcher.
  2. Search for "Scanning Queue".
  3. Select Scanning Queue from the list.
