Color Rules

The Color Pins Lightning web component allows you to create color rules to determine the color of map pins. These rules function similarly to filters. When creating a color rule, you specify the criteria that decide the color of each pin and then set the pin color. Multiple color rules can be applied to each map, and these rules are saved with the map they are applied to.

To create a color rule:

1. Load the map you wish to add the color rules to.

2. In the Color Pins Lightning web component, click “Add a new color rule.”

3. Specify the rule criteria.

4. Select the pin color for each rule.

5. When finished, click “Save”.

6. After saving the color rule, click "Save" in the Map Maker component to update the map.
