My QR Codes Module
My QR Codes
The My QR Codes module displays users' digital business cards and custom QR codes, whether created by the user or their organization. When users tap on the module, they are directed to the My QR Codes screen, where they can view and edit their QR codes.
QR Codes are organized into five categories:
- Business Cards: QR codes formatted in vCard containing users' contact and company information.
- Landing Pages: QR codes in URL format designed to direct users to a specific website.
- Social: QR codes formatted as URLs that connect to users' social media accounts.
- Payment: QR codes in URL format that direct to users' payment platform.
- Documents: QR codes in URL format that direct to a document.
Users can create custom QR codes in the Scan app by following these steps:
Tap the "Add" icon located at the top right of the My QR Codes screen.
Select a QR code category.
Name the QR code, enter the information, and then click the Save icon.
QR Codes in Salesforce
QR codes can be managed in Salesforce using the QR code object. Whenever creating a QR code in Salesforce a new QR code record is created.
Here, you can see all the existing QR codes. Clicking on any QR code will bring up its details.
