November 2024 Updates

  • Selected Records Component: The Selected Records component now displays each record’s name, city, state, and ZIP code. When users click on a record in the Selected Records component, the record’s details will appear in the Record Details component. Additionally, users can export the selected records to generate a CSV file containing the selected data.
  • Radius Tool Update: The radius tool now allows users to select records within a specified radius and create a route. All selected records will be displayed in the Selected Records component.
  • Aztec Barcode Support: The Events API module now includes support for Aztec barcode scanning.

October 2024 Updates

  • Improved Error Messaging: Invalid field error messages now appear immediately if invalid data is entered into a field on the OCR results page.
  • Confirm Return to Home: Users can choose to enable or disable the confirmation prompt when navigating back to the home screen from the Destination page.
  • Updated Enhancement Icons: Enhancement icons now align with the Scan app’s current color scheme for a consistent look.
  • Updated QR Code Design: The design of the My Digital Business Card and QR codes in the My QR Codes module has been updated.
  • AI Mapping for State & Country Picklists: The AI feature can now map state and country values directly to the corresponding picklists.
  • Vision-e Maps for Mobile: We’ve introduced mobile support, enabling users to access their maps directly on their mobile devices using the Salesforce mobile app.

September 2024 Updates

  • Improved Error Messaging: Enhances the data entry experience for Scan app users by improving error messaging for required and invalid fields. 
  • Vision-e Maps: Released an updated Vision-e Maps AppExchange package with new features and functionality.

August 2024 Updates

  • Vision-e Maps Lightning Update: We’re excited to announce that Vision-e Maps is now fully Lightning enabled. This update brings the power and flexibility of Salesforce Lightning to Vision-e Maps, allowing for a more seamless and intuitive user experience. 
  • Digital Business Card Update: We've updated the look of the Digital Business card for a more modern and streamlined look.

July 2024 Updates

  • New QR Code Feature: You can now get contact details from LinkedIn, Popl, Blinq, HiHello, and Moblio QR codes. Just scan the QR code and tap the new "Get Contact Details" button.

June 2024 Updates

  • Scanning Queue Update: The Vision-e Scanning Queue is now Lightning enabled! With Lightning, you are now in control of page layout, the display of fields, and the arrangement of the data fields.
  • Required Fields Update: In the Scan app, required fields are now shown in bold text.
  • Dependent Picklist Support: The Scan app now supports dependent picklists.

May 2024 Updates

  • Pricing Update: Increased the pricing of the in-app Pro Plan. The annual plan is now $299.99/year. The monthly plan is now $29.99/month.
  • Digital Business Card: The Digital Business Card is now free for all users.
  • Global OCR: Our Global OCR option utilizes our custom machine learning algorithm, producing improved OCR results for Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic languages. (Available exclusively to Business Plan subscribers.)
  • AI Option: When enabled, the AI option is the default for OCR results mapping.
  • App Settings: Added new options to the App Settings menu.
  • French Language Support: The Scan app now includes support for the French language. You can select French from the language options in the settings.

April 2024 Updates

  • Vision-e Scan AppExchange Package Update: We have released an updated version of the Vision-e Scan AppExchange Package, version 1.395.
  • German Language Support: The Scan app now includes support for the German language. You can select German from the language options in the settings.
  • Custom Event Layouts: Use custom page layouts for the event badge on-device OCR result page.
  • Data Validation Rule Error Messages: Use organization-created data validation error messages in the Scan app.
  • Event Badge Scanning Update: The event badge camera has been updated to recognize event badges with barcodes, and a manual capture button has been added to the camera interface.
  • Documents QR Code Category: A Documents category has been added to the My QR Codes module.
  • (Currently iOS only) Copy Business Card Data: Users can copy their My Digital Business Card information when making a new business card QR code.

March 2024 Updates

  • Pricing Update: Increased the pricing of the in-app Pro Plan. The annual plan is now $199.99/year. The monthly plan is now $19.99/month.
  • Digital Business Card Update: The layout of the Digital Business Card was updated, along with the addition of new features. A new text field and a calendar social icon were added. Additionally, there is now the option to customize the Digital Business Card picture in the Scan app.
  • Offline Queue Update: Updated the layout of the Offline Queue and added additional features.
  • Updated the Process For Scanning Event Badges: Added a new streamlined process for scanning event badges.

February 2024 Updates

  • Custom Page Layouts: Customize the 'OCR Results' page layout for Contacts and Leads in the Scan app. Plus, customize the page layout for the Event, Task, and Case Salesforce enhancements.
  • Custom Page Layout Options: Enable custom page layouts in the Salesforce Mobile Scan Builder for the mobile app.
  • Inline Updates: Manually update the on-device OCR results through inline updates.
  • LinkedIn URL: Save a LinkedIn URL in Salesforce.
  • Use AI Feature: Added an AI feature to the on-device OCR results page. Allowing for higher-quality on-device mapping results.
  • (Currently iOS only) Multi-picture feature: Using the Scan module, users can capture multiple scans at once.
  • Open in the Salesforce App Option: After creating a Lead/Contact in the Scan app, users can open the record in the Salesforce app.

December 2023 Update

  • QR Code Management in Salesforce - Salesforce administrators can now add and remove QR codes within Salesforce, subsequently pushing any modifications to the Mobile Scan app.

November 2023 Updates

  • LinkedIn Integration - Our LinkedIn integration allows you to quickly scan and search for LinkedIn profiles in-app.
  • Salesforce Campaigns - Once you've chosen a Salesforce campaign in-app it will be remembered for each additional scan.
  • Social Media Account(s)- You can now add social media account(s) to your digital business card. We currently support LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

October 2023 Updates

  • Account Engagement (Pardot) Forms - Added functionality to the Mobile Scan app to allow users to use external Account Engagement (Pardot) forms.
  • Share App Option - Added a 'Share Visione App' option in the main menu.
  • Mobile Scan App Duplicate Record Management - Creation of on-device Salesforce duplicate records will adhere to your organizational Salesforce duplicate rules.

September 2023 Updates

  • NFC & QR Preview - The preview page now includes an option to 'Open Website' when scanning an NFC card or QR code with a URL.
  • Digital Business Card - Offers users an easy and convenient way to share their contact information.
