We’re thrilled to announce a major update to the Vision-e Scan AppExchange package! The user interface has been completely revamped to improve your experience, along with new features that many users have requested. Here’s a look at what’s new:

Key Improvements:

Simplified Scanning Queue Management:

The process for adding custom and required fields to the Scanning Queue is now more intuitive and efficient.

New Scanning Queue Views:

• Gallery View: Displays images of each business card in the queue for a visual overview.
• List View: Shows a list of records added to the queue, making it easy to review processed business cards.
• New Scan Item Object:
  • Update the Scanning Queue with custom and required fields.
  • Customize the layout of the Scanning Queue using page layouts or the Lightning App Builder.

Lead and Contact Mapping:

Easily map custom fields from the Scan Item object to the Lead and Contact objects, ensuring accurate data transfer when processing business card OCR data.

Dependent Picklist Support:

The Scan app now supports dependent picklists, making data entry simpler and ensuring that accurate information is captured with each scan.
