Adding A Salesforce Campaign
Selecting a Salesforce Campaign in the Scan app enables you to swiftly add multiple contacts or leads to the campaign without exiting the Scan app. After selecting the campaign, it will be remembered for future scans. A campaign can be selected from either the 'Continue to OCR' screen or the 'Destination' screen.
After selection, the campaign will be displayed beneath the Salesforce enhancement icons. Additionally, a checkmark will appear above the 'Campaign' icon to indicate that one has been chosen.
By default, the 'Campaign' enhancement isn't enabled and needs to be enabled in Salesforce using the Mobile Scan Builder.
How to Add a Campaign
To add a Salesforce Campaign:
1. Go to the 'Search Campaign' Screen
Tap the 'Campaign' icon on the 'Continue to OCR' or 'Destination' screen to access the Campaign search screen.
2. Search for a Campaign
On the 'Search Campaign' screen, you can search for a campaign by tapping the "Search Campaign" field. There are two methods to find campaigns: entering at least three letters initiates an automatic search for matching Salesforce Campaigns, or by entering at least one letter and tapping "Search," you can manually search for matching Salesforce Campaigns.
3. Select a Campaign
To add a campaign, simply tap on the result of the campaign you want to add.
The chosen campaign will appear beneath the enhancement icons, and a checkmark will show above the 'Campaign' enhancement, indicating that the campaign has been added.
How To Remove A Salesforce Campaign
If you want to remove a Salesforce campaign, you have two options to choose from:
Option 1:
On the 'Continue to OCR' screen or the 'Destination' screen, tap the 'x' next to the currently selected campaign.
Option 2:
On either the 'Continue to OCR' screen or the 'Destination' screen, tap the 'Campaign' icon.
On the 'Search Campaign' screen, tap 'Reset' at the top right.
Enabling the Campaign Enhancement in Salesforce
By default, the Campaign enhancement isn't enabled in the scan app and needs to be enabled using the Mobile Scan Builder.
To enable the Campaign enhancement:
1. Go to the Mobile Scan Builder
Search for "Mobile Scan Builder" in the App Launcher.
2. Go to "Destination Page" Options
In the Mobile Scan Builder, navigate to the Options tab, then go to the Destination Page section.
3. Enable the Campaign Enhancement
After navigating to the Destination Page section, toggle the "Hide Save to SF Campaign" option to off, and then click "Save".
4. Confirm the Change
Once the changes are saved, you'll see a confirmation message pop up. For users to start using the Campaign enhancement in the Scan app, they'll need to either refresh the app's settings or simply restart the app.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to enable the Campaign enhancement in the Scan app.
