Invalid Field Error Messaging Update
The error messaging for invalid values in OCR result fields has been updated to provide immediate feedback when incorrect data is entered. Now, if a user updates the OCR results with an invalid value, such as a partial email address (e.g., example@test) or text in a number field, an error message will appear immediately.
Previously, the error message would only appear after reviewing the OCR results and attempting to proceed to the Destination page to save the scan as a Lead or Contact. Immediate per-field feedback helps streamline the data-entry process.
Note: Currently, custom validation rules set in Salesforce are not applied on the OCR results page. They are only checked when attempting to save a Lead or Contact from the Destination page.
