How It Works

Using the results of the on-device OCR, users can quickly search for LinkedIn profiles in-app. When users select the LinkedIn integration a search is done on the LinkedIn website to find a corresponding profile. We take the values from the first name, last name, and company fields of the OCR results to do the search.

After reviewing the results of on-device OCR, you'll notice a new LinkedIn icon among the Salesforce enhancements. For first-time users of this feature, tapping the icon will redirect them to the LinkedIn signup page. Once signed in, users won't need to log in again unless they choose to sign out.

After logging in, tapping the LinkedIn icon displays the search results of the user's profile.

When done, tap the back arrow to return.
