There is now a new process for scanning event badges. Now, scanning badges takes you directly to the OCR results screen, simplifying the process of capturing event badges.

Once users scan an event badge using either the Capture or Scan modules, they are immediately directed to the on-device Optical Character Recognition (OCR) results for the event badge. This OCR results screen is formatted differently, designed to accurately capture and display the information typically present on event badges.

The event badge OCR results screen has six standard fields to capture information from scanned event badges. After reviewing the results and making any changes, the event badge scan can be saved in Salesforce.
